Physical activity at the Private Primary School “Mihajlo Pupin” is an integral part of the educational and character-building process. We believe that a child’s healthy development cannot be separated from movement, physical discipline, and a proper relationship with one’s own body. The physical education program is designed to contribute to the development of strength, coordination, endurance, self-control, and team spirit, with full respect for the age and individual abilities of children.

Physical Activity as an educational Framework

Through regular and professionally guided exercise, students develop discipline, perseverance, and respect for rules. Physical activity positively affects concentration, emotional stability, and the development of healthy habits, and at the same time represents an important part of the daily rhythm of the school day.

Wrestling – Program for Boys

Wrestling at the “Mihajlo Pupin” school has a strong educational and developmental role. This sport encourages the development of strength, coordination, and body awareness, but above all teaches self-control, respect for the opponent, and the proper attitude toward victory and defeat.

The wrestling program is adapted to age and implemented under professional supervision. The emphasis is on properly mastering basic techniques, developing discipline, and strengthening self-confidence. Through wrestling, boys learn to channel energy in a controlled, meaningful, and responsible way.

Gymnastics – Program for Girls

Gymnastics at the Private Primary School “Mihajlo Pupin” is focused on the development of coordination, balance, flexibility, and proper posture. The program is adapted to the age of the girls and is carried out in a safe and stimulating environment.

Team Sports

Team sports play an important role in the physical program of the school. Through various forms of team games, students develop cooperation, responsibility toward the team, and respect for common rules. Obstacle Courses and Development of Motor Skills

Obstacle courses are designed as dynamic and diverse activities that contribute to the development of basic motor skills. Through obstacles, tasks, and coordination exercises, children develop balance, resourcefulness, reaction speed, and self-confidence.

Obstacle courses are adapted to the age of students and allow physical abilities to develop through play, but with clearly set rules and goals.

Folklore

Folklore has a special place in the physical and educational program of the “Mihajlo Pupin” school. Through learning traditional games and dances, students develop coordination, rhythm, and physical culture, but also become familiar with their own cultural heritage.

Folklore contributes to the development of a sense of belonging, respect for tradition, and community. This activity connects physical movement with identity and culture, making it an important part of the entire educational system.
