The philosophy of the “Mihajlo Pupin” Private Elementary School is based on the belief that a child will progress best in an environment that is both pleasant, stable and clearly structured. A supportive school environment does not mean the absence of demands, but rather the existence of structure, consistency and adults who guide the educational process with certainty.
At the “Mihajlo Pupin” school, knowledge is is acquired systematically and without oversimplification. We believe that guidance, perseverance and clear standards are necessary for the development of real knowledge and intellectual security of a child. Students are not brought down to the lowest level; instead, they are encouraged to reach their full potential, with continuous teacher support.
Special attention is paid to the educational dimension of education. Discipline at our school is not repressive, but educational. Discipline teaches children self-control, responsibility, and respect for the community. Clear rules of behavior and communication represent a safety framework in which children feel protected and free to develop.
The pleasant atmosphere of the school results from order, and not from its absence.
Private Primary School ‘Mihajlo Pupin’ nurtures a culture of knowledge, guidance, and mutual respect. The relationship between student and teacher is based on authority, trust and professional care. Teachers do not merely deliver lesson content; they provide support and serve as examples of responsible behavior.
The goal of our philosophy is not short-term success, but long-term formation of a stable, independent and responsible personality. The school prepares students for further education and a life in which they can think clearly, remain dedicated, and take responsibility for their own decisions.
The teaching and professional team of the school consists of professionals with experience, authority and a clear pedagogical status. Each member of the team contributes to the stability, continuity and quality of the school’s work.

Born in Belgrade. Spent his childhood in Moscow. Graduated from the Third Belgrade Gymnasium, and then earned a degree in philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade. As a Platonist, he believes that philosophy lives only to the extent that it is shared with others. Out of love for philosophy, he dedicated his life to continuous learning and teaching. One who teaches others must continuously learn, because, as Immanuel Kant observes, “man can only be educated by a man who is himself educated.” The fundamental Socratic principle he follows in working with students is “virtue is knowledge.” In other words, the path toward moral improvement leads through intellectual work on oneself. Good will and the desire for knowledge create the most beautiful unity that a human being can achieve.
He has spent more than 13 years in the field of educational work, during which he taught classical philosophy and logic classes, as well as project-based teaching within elective programs such as methodology of scientific research and religions and civilizations. His students achieved exceptional success at national and international competitions. Through active participation in numerous school teams, he had the opportunity to solve complex problems that accompany the life of every school. He treats his students with respect, believes in them, and knows that they can always do more than they think they can. Therefore, support in the educational process is of crucial importance.

Grbić’s works have been printed in large circulations, in numerous editions, and translated into foreign languages. He has also received prestigious national literary awards for his novels. He is the recipient of the “Miloš Crnjanski” Award for the novel “Ruminations on an Impending Catastrophe” and the “Branko Ćopić” Award for the novel “Prelest.”
He decided to give his love for philosophical research its highest academic form. As a doctoral candidate at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade, Filip Grbić is writing a doctoral dissertation dedicated to selected problems of contemporary hermeneutic philosophy. He believes that, unlike all other pleasures that almost inevitably turn into pain, learning is the only thing that never betrays a person.
She graduated in psychology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad and, through more than two decades of work in educational institutions and educational centers, gained extensive experience in her profession. Her work in primary schools, where she served as a professional associate-psychologist conducting psychological testing, counseling, and work on improving the mental health of students, teachers, and parents, enabled her to develop deep dedication and empathy. The experience gained through work at the Center for Social Work and volunteering in the psychiatry department further strengthened her professional approach and understanding of the social needs of the community.
Maja combines expertise in psychology with effective management, thereby making a significant contribution to team development and the improvement of the educational process. As a very creative and dynamic person, she always brings freshness and innovation into her work, while her orientation toward teamwork enables successful cooperation with colleagues.
