In the spirit of fostering culture, the written word and a love for books, our students had the honour of attending an interesting and inspiring lecture given by Isidora Injac from the National Library of Serbia.
Through a talk on the importance of the National Library, the students were introduced to concepts such as legacies, the conservation and preservation of books, as well as the important ways in which our cultural and literary heritage is preserved. Of particular interest were the facts about the oldest and smallest books, precious manuscripts, and the treasures that libraries have jealously guarded for centuries.
This lecture was a precious journey through the world of books, knowledge, and tradition, reminding us how important it is to preserve the written word as a lasting testament to time and culture.
