Interacting with the baby ducklings was more than just play for our pupils. It was a valuable learning experience through hands-on engagement. Through this encounter with the animals, the children had the opportunity to develop tenderness, care, and a sense of responsibility towards living creatures.
By observing the ducklings and learning how to approach, hold, and care for them, the pupils were absorbing important life values such as patience, care, and respect for nature. This type of teaching fosters empathy and develops an awareness of the importance of caring for the world around us.
Through play, joy, and the children’s genuine smiles, this day will be remembered as a warm life lesson that is not learned from textbooks, but experienced.
