In his time, Dositej Obradović devoted himself to dispelling ignorance and calming the turbulent passions of the people. Had it not been for the dedication of our scholars who, over the past two centuries, returned from abroad to their homeland in order to establish educational and other institutions, we would not know who we are or appreciate the rich heritage for which we are responsible.
Out of respect for the historical heritage of the Serbian people, we have chosen to organize teaching at our school in accordance with the National Curriculum approved by the Ministry of Education.
We believe that this curriculum is very ambitiously designed but, unfortunately, is only partially implemented in state schools. Not only are we determined and capable of fully achieving the goals of the National Curriculum, but we have also chosen to strengthen it by introducing numerous additional activities, such as folklore, etiquette, and traditional crafts.
We strive to develop both a sense of belonging and a sense of responsibility toward Serbian tradition. Through the study of the Serbian language, literature, history, religious education, and many other subjects, we root our students in the spiritual and intellectual heritage of our nation and prepare them to make their own contribution to the future of their country.
