The pupils of our school visited the Church of Saint Sava, one of the most significant spiritual and cultural symbols of the Serbian people.
During their visit, they had the opportunity to see the Holy Belt of the Most Holy Mother of God, a holy relic which is currently available for veneration by the faithful and visitors to the Cathedral. The children were particularly struck by the atmosphere of peace, prayerful silence and solemnity that filled this sacred space.
As a memento of this significant day, the pupils were given blessed ribbons, which will remind them of their encounter with one of the greatest holy relics of the Orthodox world.
Such visits provide a valuable opportunity for pupils to gain knowledge and to become acquainted with the spiritual heritage, traditions and values that have shaped our culture and identity for centuries.
